Fay founded Brackendale in 2013 after spending a decade within the European private equity industry. She was previously IR Manager at Cipio Partners, where she also carried out PR and deal origination work. Prior to this she was private equity consultant at Arbor Square Associates. Fay has significant public speaking experience – regularly moderating and chairing at private markets conferences.
In her earlier career as a financial journalist, Fay wrote for The Economist, The Financial Times Group, Private Equity International, IR magazine, and France unquote. She has appeared as a commentator on CNBC Europe’s Power Lunch and Squawk Box programmes, and worked as a radio broadcaster on Lyon 1ère in France, and on Radio Redhill in the UK. She holds BA and MA(Res) degrees in French and Italian from the University of Leeds and speaks English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Russian, and Catalan.
