Benjamin is an award-winning editor and journalist with extensive experience writing about private equity, finance and markets. He was previously European Asset Management and Private Equity Reporter at Bloomberg, after working as Senior Business Reporter at the South China Morning Post. Benjamin also had a stint as head of PR at Trilitech, a blockchain technology developer, after working as senior writer covering global crypto policy at The Block.
Prior to this, Benjamin negotiated with the Chinese government to open The Scotsman newspaper's first China office, where he held the position as China Bureau Chief, while also serving as a regular contributor for Forbes, Newsweek, Voice of America and Al-Jazeera. He also spent several years assisting a Hong Kong asset management firm develop a China office network. Benjamin holds a BA in History from the University of Bristol and pursued further study at Tsinghua University in Beijing.
