Jonathan joined the Brackendale team in late 2013, having designed the company logo, brand,
and website. An all-rounder in the creative process, specialising in magazine design and
typography, he has 15 years’ experience in the design world, much of which was spent at the
financial publishing house Cross Border, where he art-edited Investor relations, Corporate
Secretary, and Corp Comms magazines.
Jonathan 'cut his teeth' in the newspaper industry with
Northcliffe and has seen the development of print and design from hot metal type to pixel;
he is equally happy fine-tuning pages in InDesign and re-touching images in Photoshop as he
is hand-rendering calligraphy and traditional illustration.
