Fay Margo, CEO, and Laura Shelley, COO, collected the prize on behalf of the whole Brackendale team at the award ceremony at the Hilton London Bankside.
As a female-founded and female-led business, DEI is incredibly important to us – both within our own organisation and the private markets space we serve. We're proud to receive this recognition for not only creating a fair and inclusive workplace at Brackendale, but also for our efforts to advance DEI in the private equity industry and keep challenging the status quo in uncertain geopolitical times.
In the wake of shifting political narratives towards DEI, Brackendale’s 2025 LP Sentiment Survey polled our institutional investor contacts on how they view the role of diverse teams in achieving outsized returns.
Our research found that despite rising tensions surrounding corporate DEI rollbacks in the US, 78% of European investors agreed that the diversity of thought implicit in balanced and diverse teams is linked to financial outperformance.
This award reflects the collective effort of our hardworking team and our clients who support us in helping to shape a more equitable industry.
